CAPTAIN’S SALTY DOG

This drink was invented in honor of Walt Nullet, a dear friend from Chesapeake Virginia.

2 1/2 ounce Tarnished Truth 3 year High Rye
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1 ounce of Montenegro Amaro
1/4 ounce allspice dram
3/4 ounce simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 drops saline solution

Shake well with ice
Strain over large cube of ice
Serve in a rocks glass
Garnish with a lemon wheel or twist
